First, prepare your eyes with a concealer. This is used to hide circles under the eyes or a bluish discoloration that some of us get just under the inner eye. To cover darker circles, apply three dots of concealer under each eye. Start at the point where your skin tends to be darkest – sometimes the inner edger – then under the pupil and the third on the outer edge. Pat, never rub with your ring finger. Next, apply an eye base to your lid. This is the secret to keeping your shadow in place for hours. Without properly priming your lid first, your eyeshadow will likely end up a greasy line in your crease. Next, apply the eye shadow. Try to use a three-toned shadow and build from lids to brow. Begin with a light color that almost matches your lid. Sweep the color across the lid and up to the brow bone. Follow with a medium color across your lid only. Build on this with a darker color in the crease. Blend the colors.

Next, follow with eyeliner. Dark eye shadows work great. Wet a slanted brush, then dip in a dark eyeshadow. Line eyes as close to the upper lashes as possible from the inner corner to the outer corner. Follow with liner on bottom eyes, but only line from the middle of the eye out. Smudge the bottom line with a Q-tip or your finger. For a smoky look, use a brush to pat in a dark eyeshadow along the upper lid and below the lid. Blend it well.

Next, brighten your eyes with a highlighter. This step involves only the inside part of the eye. With a gold or pink highlighter (white is too bright), draw a v-shaped shape that follows the inner corner of your eye from top to bottom. Blend with your fingers. Now we are ready to highlight the brow. Take the same highlighter and dab it on your brow bone, concentrating on your mid-brow outward. Blend well. if you want, give some attention to your eyelashes. An eyelash curler makes even short lashes look more gorgeous. Finally, apply the mascara by putting your mascara brush at the bottom of lashes and wiggling back and forth.

Jaslene Gonzalez was born on May 28th, 1986 in Puerto Rico, but grew up in the Chicago area. She went to an all-girl high school. Before she did modeling, she was an online college admissions advisor. Had too much fun the night before?  Headache experts say there still isn’t a cure for the common hangover.

Unfortunately, most of the advice given is about not getting a hangover in the first place. Clever ideas like not drinking too much or eating this or that when you drink, etc. But, since we are talking about how to deal with a hangover, all the prevention advice is too late. We need to do something now!

There are a lot of concoctions both home remedies and things you can buy at the drug store to help – maybe. Here’s one:

The Prairie Oyster: Put a raw egg in a glass and add a dash or two of hot sauce, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce and some salt and pepper.

The experts say that something made of these ingredients isn’t going to help you at all. It does work for some. Go figure. If you’re in the mood to experiment, why not?

There are many different remedies like this: fried foods, extra eggs, even rubbing lemons under your arms(where do they get this stuff?). None have been proven to be a hangover cure. Why? One possible reason is that not all people get hangovers for the same reason. Some people are just dehydrated. This is the most common and is easily cured with drinking water and waiting an hour or so. Some people drink more alcohol as a remedy. We can only say this sounds like someone’s excuse to drink more. It may dull the senses, but underneath the hangover is still there.

Here’s a smattering of ‘cures’ we’ve seen people swear by:

1 ) A good cure consists of a banana, a carrot, a tomato, a shot of vodka, a bit of tabasco, some milk and after mouthwash to remove taste.

2) 2 HOT tacos and a beer. Make sure the tacos are so HOT they make you cry. Works every time and on any hangover no matter what the dog was.

3) Lucozade Sport – works fast and is 100% effective – if anyone from Lucozade is reading – please send me a caseful for the publicity I have given you!

4) Fried egg sandwich, brown bread, not too much ketchup, eat whilst piping hot in bed, watch Friends and get some sleep…

5) I think the best cure for a hangover is diarrhea medication as it contains vitamins and minerals and is designed to keep you hydrated better, so its all you need, BLAMO!

6) I usually drink 1 cup of milk, 1 cup of tomato juice, a mulitvitamin and a lot of poweraid…within 1/2 hour, I feel as good as new! This will help rehydrate and restore electrolyte balance.

7) Have sex the next morning it burns calories, and makes you sweat out the alcohol, and if feels great

when you are feeling bad next day try a glass lucosade and a plenty of fruit especially orange and banana you will be bouncing of the walls

9) when i get home after a good session i always have a cheese and onion sandwich, don’t know why i just crave for cheese and hey!! presto!! in the morning wow i feel great!!

10) Rehydrate! The best way to rehydrate…. 1000cc of saline and 4 hours of sleep will get rid of even the worst headache!

That’s a partial list of thousands of possible ‘cures’. We like the ones that say ‘rehydrate’. It seems to be the best advice. If it isn’t working for you, the hangover may just be an imbalance in your system. If there’s something you crave and it isn’t harmful, try it. Maybe those raw eggs and pepper will be the cure for you after all.
